Prim Jet Color supplies sublimable dye inks for plotters with piezoelectric print head DX3/DX4 and also for thermal plotters (bubble jet). Color range of offered inks is in accordance with CMYK/LM/LC palette, enriched with an additional tint of black color - gray color.
 

Inks were designed using latest technologies, to obtain very good resistance of the printout on the UV radiation. Results of the tests placed in the further part of the offer prove that our sublimation inks assure the precise return of details on printouts, they possess wide palette of colors, they are similarly resistant to weather, sunlight and mechanical factors as brand-name firmsí inks.

Lightfastness UV tests were performed using Spectroline Lamp ENF-260 C, with wavelength: λ= 254 nm.

How to use?

  •  The printout made on the special paper can be transferred on the suitable media using printing press or other device making possible sublimation thermal transfer. Usually the temperature of the transfer fits in in the interval from 190ļC to 210ļC, and the transfer time carries out about 1 minute.

  • If one want to obtain a sublimation printout on non-typical media it is necessary to prepare it properly using Prim Jet Colorís lacquer Pre-Coat dedicated for given material (e.g. PVC, ceramics, metal etc.). In this aim we create the mixture 25 parts of the first component (the bronze lacquer) and 100 parts of the second component (colorless lacquer). Then using compressed air (this is a recommended option) with pressure equal to 21 atmospheres or the roll to acrylic paints one can put the lacquer on the surface dedicated for the printout. The lacquer will harden in the course of 24 hours and after this time one can start with the sublimation transfer.
